Jen
Voice • Piano • Choir Director
Jen is an accomplished vocalist, pianist, choir director, choral arranger and performer.
Comprehensively trained in contemporary voice and piano, with a Bachelor of Music from Queensland University of Technology, where she also studied Education, Psychology, and Choral Conducting and Arranging.
From 2015-2020, Jen was the Artistic Director of the incredibly successful Houston Show Choir. She also taught Voice at the British International School of Houston.
Tom
Guitar, Bass, Songwriting & Music Production Teacher
A phenomenal guitarist and bass player, Tom is a certified Senior School music teacher and endorsed recording artist and producer, even having had his own music featured on Triple J.

Tyler
Piano Teacher
Tyler joins the team at Just Sing Out with a wealth of experience in piano teaching and music education from beginner to advanced playing and performance. Tyler is passionate about working with students to achieve their personal goals in piano and music learning, and to bring the joy of music into their daily lives and practice.
Patty
Piano Teacher
Originally from South Africa, Patty is a highly qualified piano teacher, with extensive experience in harmony and choir training as well. She loves helping students find their groove on the ‘keys’.
Amy
Song & Dance Teacher
It’s said that Amy was dancing before she could walk, and with a lifetime of training and experience across jazz, tap and classical styles, as well as competition, choreography, and performance, she is a wonderful addition to the Just Sing Out team.
A qualified dance teacher for the last decade, Amy has taught students of all ages from the very young to the young at heart. Her choreography and vocal experience has seen her work with numerous vocal choirs, including the Sunshine Coast Show Choir, and music eisteddfods.
Josh
Voice Teacher
With a love of Frank Sinatra and Bobby Darin from a young age, Josh has pursued a career in jazz performance at the Queensland Conservatorium. Today Josh and his warm vocal tones can be found singing at bars, restaurants and events throughout South East Queensland. Known as the ‘Michael Buble of the Sunshine Coast’, we’re thrilled to have Josh on the team!
Brodie
Guitar, Bass & Songwriting Teacher
Currently studying music, Brodie is a passionate guitarist, with experience in performance, writing and recording. Teaching offers Brodie an opportunity to share that passion with others, and he finds it very rewarding to see students progress and find their own musical path.
Tom C
Drums Teacher
With qualifications from Trinity and QUT, Tom is an absolute teaching rock star. And with a lot of experience performing with live bands, he knows how to build a student’s confidence for going on stage. With our gold drum kit in the studio, kids and adults will love learning to rock with Tom!
Liam
Voice, Trumpet & Guitar Teacher
Liam is an experienced music mentor, performer, and recording artist. As a solo artist, Liam has written and produced numerous albums, performed across Australia and Canada, and at many weddings and private events. He is currently performing in a Silverchair and Nirvana tribute band. As a trumpeter, Liam has played with wind ensembles, jazz big bands, and recorded with rock and electronic artists. Liam has taught music at the Independent Music Academy in Brisbane, The Guitar Den in Caloundra, and St Patricks College in Sandgate.
Mikayla
Piano Trainee
Mikayla is a voice and piano teacher in training.
With a long background in music and singing classes, and a range of performance experience, Mikayla is thrilled to be honing her own teaching skills as part of the Just Sing Out team.
Grace
Voice Trainee
Grace has been a voice student with Just Sing Out for many years! She is an avid actor and loves doing musicals, plays and anything dramatic. She has completed musical theatre voice exams and is working towards a full time career in the musical theatre industry. Having come so far with Just Sing Out, Grace is eager to share her experience with every new student.
Mia
Voice & Guitar Trainee
Studying to be a high school music teacher, Mia joins us with many music exams under her belt, and a passion for sharing that knowledge with others. A big lover of musical theatre, Mia has performed lead roles in a number of local productions, and was chosen to perform the National Anthem at Kawana Stadium for the Opens Football Grand Final!
Harrison
Piano Trainee
One of our newest trainee teachers, Harrison is currently studying classical piano. As part of the Just Sing Out team, Harrison is great with younger students from beginner to intermediate level.
Cooper
Guitar Trainee
Cooper loves everything to do with music, especially the guitar, and is thrilled to be working with Just Sing Out to help others find their passion. His musical influences are varied and include Van Halen, Pink Floyd, Guthrie Govan, Steve Vai, Alice In Chains, Frank Sinatra, Jamiroquai and Red Hot Chili Peppers.
Ruby
Piano & Voice Trainee
With standout theatre credits including Rizzo in Grease and Catherine in Pippin, Ruby brings a powerful passion for musical theatre to everything she does. But don’t be fooled into thinking she’s only about the stage - Ruby is also a proud Swiftie, with Taylor Swift topping her playlist! Ruby is now offering lessons in voice and piano for young singers and musicians. She’s currently taking on new students on Tuesdays and Saturdays, so don’t miss your chance to learn from her!
Jesse
Vocal Coach
After completing a series of vocal exams under the mentorship of Principal Teacher Jen, Jesse has stepped confidently into his role as a vocal coach for young, aspiring singers. With a deep passion for musical theatre, Jesse brings both technical knowledge and a love of performance to his lessons. His friendly, encouraging approach helps students build confidence while developing strong vocal foundations.
Fraser
Drums Trainee
With experience across a wide range of ensembles, Fraser is the newest trainee teacher at Just Sing Out! He has performed with orchestras, rock bands, musicals, and symphonic bands, and was awarded a music scholarship at this very school. We’re thrilled to welcome Fraser to the team!
